HOLIDAY SALE! Use promo code YCSDBZ at checkout for 20% off! My work has evolved as a result of my graphic design training combined with my love of painting and drawing. As a child, I always enjoyed artwork and was in constant need of art supplies. I studied classical painting and drawing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago then transferred to Parsons School of Design in New York City. There I began a love affair with oil paints. I neglected to mention the facets (or cuts) in the crystal glasses that reflect the light. They add so much to the picture. An ordinary run-of-the-mill tumbler wouldn't have the same effect, not by a long shot. I've been to a restaurant where cocktails were served in a plastic 'glass.' I mean--who does that? Also, I didn't notice the cigar in the lower right hand corner even though it was in the title.

This is very unique. it has so many things that are often associated with each other. Whiskey and poker seem to go together. I like the whiskey glasses, the liquor bottles, the playing cards and it looks like dice and poker chips, too. It makes for a very colorful picture. I ordered one very similar to this one today (also yours) that was available as a note card. This one wasn't but I think I favored this one. Actually, I think it's a toss-up. This would have looked nice hanging on the wall on the old show, "Cheers."
