An oil on canvas collage painting layered with an inspirational bible passage about hope. This was part of the original series licensed to Bed, Bath and Beyond in 2004 which broke art publishing records.

As a child, I always enjoyed artwork and was in constant need of art supplies. I studied classical painting and drawing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago then transferred to Parsons School of Design in New York City. There I began a love affair with oil paints. I love the smell and the way they move around the canvas. I also work in pencil, pastels and acrylics.
